When Economists are used (and abused)

Martin Kennedy - Thursday, September 07, 2017
The Nashville Tea Party and a Vanderbilt University economics professor are raising concerns about the $6 billion regional mass transit plan for Middle Tennessee.

So begins a piece in the Tennessee Star. The economist might be troubled by certain components of the plan but for different reasons, I'd bet, than the Nashville Tea Party.  This, local and regional transit is a compelling issue.  Think I'll cover it in a series of white papers.  It is worth having a serious discussion and we need to begin with the fundamental concepts.
